Off to another great start this season. For the first 2 days of the season I was joined by Ian, who had the big fish in my boat on last season’s opening day. After a delayed start we launched from near Oughterard, in just over an hour I had this fish in the boat, thanks to Ian for netting and photographing/filming it.
The fish weighed in at just under 16lb and is my personal best brown trout, going to be a fun one to try and beat.
